Glastonbury 2023 is just around the corner, and fans are already speculating about who might be playing the festival’s mysterious Churnups slot.

The Churnups are billed to play the Pyramid Stage on Friday, June 23, just before headliners Arctic Monkeys. But who are they?

Fans have been quick to point out that The Churnups is an anagram of “Pulp,” leading many to believe that the band is secretly reuniting for a surprise performance at the festival.

Pulp drummer Nick Banks has since taken to social media to deny any link to the slot, but that hasn’t stopped fans from speculating.

Foo Fighters are another band that has been linked to The Churnups, thanks to a recent article in the Seattle Times. The article claimed that frontman Dave Grohl used to be in a band called “Churn.”

Grohl has also been spotted in Glastonbury’s new official artwork, raising even more suspicion.

With so many rumors swirling, it’s hard to know what to believe. We’ll just have to wait and see who takes the stage on June 23rd.
