Legendary rock bands Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe are gearing up to hit the road Down Under this November, with three massive stadium gigs planned for the east coast.
Kicking off at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium on November 8, the tour will then move to Sydney’s Giants Stadium on November 11 before concluding in Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on November 14.
General tickets for the shows will go on sale next Thursday (June 8), with pre-sales for fans of the bands, Vodafone customers and Live Nation members available now.
The co-headline tour, The World Tour, is a continuation of the bands’ global run which began in Mexico City in February. Following Latin American dates, the tour has now moved to Europe and will continue to North America in August.

“After getting back on the road this past summer, we’re beyond thrilled to bring this massive tour to a global audience including some special dates in Australia,” said Def Leppard frontman Joe Elliott.
Mötley Crüe added: “We had an incredible time playing The Stadium Tour in North America and we truly can’t wait to continue taking the show around the globe with The WORLD Tour in 2023. Crüeheads get ready because we have a few amazing Australian dates set for you!”
This will be Mötley Crüe’s first visit to Australia in eight years and their first tour here since founding guitarist Mick Mars’ departure in 2020. The band have since been joined by John 5.
Def Leppard, meanwhile, last toured Australia in 2018, playing their landmark 1987 album ‘Hysteria’ in full to celebrate its 30th anniversary.
