Rammstein have fiercely denied allegations against frontman Till Lindemann of spiking a fan’s drink at a Vilnius concert pre-party. Taking to their official Twitter page, the band issued a statement in both German and English refuting the claims: “We can rule out the possibility that what is being claimed took place in our environment. We are not aware of any official investigations into this matter.”

The rumors began when a Reddit user, Shelby69666, uploaded a photo of a large bruise with the caption, “Spiked, no idea when this happened”, alongside the post title “Fuck Rammstein”. The post has since been deleted, but numerous threads stemming from it were also taken down by the Reddit page’s moderators for being considered hearsay.

Shelby Lynn, the same user, took to Twitter the next day to expand on the allegations. She said that she had been invited to a pre-party by a member of the Rammstein crew, where she was asked to leave her phone on the table and alcoholic drinks were provided by the band. Lynn claims that she only had two drinks, but felt incredibly intoxicated for the rest of the evening.

Joe Letz, a member of the Rammstein side project Lindemann, then led her and other women to “Row 0” to meet Lindemann, who allegedly asked her if she wanted to have sex with him. After responding that she didn’t, Lynn claims that he had an angry outburst and left. She has made it clear that she is not accusing him of rape.

Shelby Lynn’s Twitter account mainly focuses on the incident, with photos, videos and texts of her at the party. Lindemann has yet to respond to the allegations.
