Beck and French indie band Phoenix have joined forces to release their new single ‘Odyssey’. The upbeat summery track was written, produced and performed by the two artists and is out just in time for their upcoming co-headlining tour of North America.
The tour, dubbed the ‘Summer Odyssey’, kicks off on August 1 in Seattle, Washington, and will make its way to cities like Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Houston, Boston, New York and more before wrapping on September 10 in Columbia, Maryland.
Supporting Beck and Phoenix on select dates are Japanese Breakfast, Jenny Lewis, Weyes Blood and Sir Chloe. Tickets for the tour are still available for purchase online.
The new single follows Beck’s mournful track ‘Thinking About You’, which came out earlier in February, and his cover of Neil Young’s ‘Old Man’. Beck’s 14th studio album, ‘Hyperspace’, was released in 2019.
The musician recently joined The Black Keys at their Paris show for a live performance of his hit song ‘Loser’. Beck will also be performing at Glastonbury this Sunday (June 25) on the Woodies stage.
