Troye Sivan has recently joked about his desire to reach out to Stray Kids’ Hyunjin – but has promised to keep his K-pop attractions to himself in the future.
The Australian singer shared a series of clips of Hyunjin in a compilation video set to his new single ‘Rush’, asking his followers if anyone knew how to reach the Stray Kids member. The two had previously met and taken a selfie together at Dua Lipa and Versace’s ‘La Vacanza’ fashion show in Cannes this May.
In a later TikTok video, Sivan walked down the street while ‘Rush’ played in the background, captioning the video with a joke about his public attraction to the K-pop star. He wrote: “That’s the last time I publicly crush on a K-pop star I almost got murdered.”
Sivan is currently starring in the HBO original series The Idol, alongside Jennie of K-pop girl group BLACKPINK. He is also set to release his third studio album soon, five years after his acclaimed sophomore album ‘Bloom’.
The singer has released a few works since then, including the 2020 EP ‘In A Dream’ and the singles ‘Angel Baby’. He also recorded the songs ‘Trouble’ and ‘Wait’ for the film Three Months, which he also starred in.
K-pop fans can look forward to Sivan’s upcoming album, as well as his other projects in the near future.
