Rapper Lil Nas X brought down the house at Glastonbury Festival this evening (June 25) with an incredible set on the Pyramid Stage that had fans in awe. After several costume changes, dancers, and a giant mechanical horse, the performance was a spectacle that won’t soon be forgotten.
The set opened with ‘Montero (Call Me By Your Name)’, ‘Scoop’, and ‘Dead Right Now’, and even included a special appearance from musician Jack Harlow for the closing song ‘Industry Baby’. Fans were quick to share their appreciation online, with one saying “This is one of the best performances I’ve seen” and another noting that Lil Nas X was “absolutely killing this”.
The evening’s events kicked off with Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s opening set on the Pyramid Stage, and Yusuf/Cat Stevens’ Legends’ Slot performance that paid tribute to George Harrison with a cover of The Beatles’ ‘Here Comes The Sun’. Unfortunately, Japanese Breakfast had to cancel her set at The Other Stage due to travel delays, and was replaced by Eaves Wilder.
The night will be brought to a close with Elton John’s headline slot, which will be his final show in the UK. Four special guests have been confirmed for the set, though who they are remains a mystery. Rumors are swirling that Britney Spears may make an appearance, following hints she shared on social media.
