Adele Urges Fans to Stop Throwing Objects at Artists on Stage

Adele spoke to her audience at a Las Vegas show about the recent incidents of objects being thrown at artists on stage. She asked the audience to “stop throwing things” and said that she would “fucking kill” anyone who dared throw something at her while she was performing.

This comes after multiple artists have experienced objects being thrown at them while onstage, including Bebe Rexha who was hit in the head by a fan’s phone and required stitches, Pink who was left stunned when a fan threw their mother’s ashes at her during a show, and Lil Nas X whose show was paused when a fan threw a sex toy on stage. Other artists, such as Kelsea Ballerini and Harry Styles, have also been hit in the face or eye by objects thrown at them by concertgoers.

Zane Lowe, the host of an Apple Music radio show, spoke out against the issue and said that it takes “courage” and “real vulnerability” for artists to perform in front of thousands of people. He urged people to remember that the ticket does not give them the “right” to throw objects at the artist.

Adele also asked her audience another question during one of her shows, asking if they would visit the Titanic at the bottom of the ocean if they had the opportunity. She expressed sadness and tragedy for the “deadly implosion” of the Titan vessel.

It is clear that Adele is passionate about this topic and hopes that fans will take her advice and stop throwing objects at artists on stage. This is a reminder to all concertgoers to remember the courage and vulnerability of the artist and remember that the ticket does not give them the right to throw objects.
