The actor took his daughter and her friends to the event, and it appears he was won over by the show as he’s now a “rabid” fan, even sleeping with a heart hammer – a light-up pink hammer with heart-shaped ends that is sold in the BLACKPINK merchandise range.
The concert marked a historic moment for BLACKPINK, as it was the first time a Korean group had headlined a major festival in the UK. Their passionate performance and passionate fan base was certainly enough to make Grant an instant fan, and he took to Twitter to express his appreciation for the show.
The band’s success isn’t slowing down anytime soon, as their latest single “How You Like That” set a new record for the most simultaneous viewers for a music video on YouTube. Their fans, known as “Blinks,” have been eagerly awaiting the release of their first full-length studio album, which is set to release later this year.
