ABBA May Be Bringing Their Revolutionary Voyage Hologram Concert To Australia

ABBA fans rejoice: the iconic Swedish pop group may be bringing their revolutionary Voyage hologram concert to Australia. Reports indicate that Sydney’s Entertainment Quarter in Moore Park is leading the bid to bring the production, which features de-aged digital holograms of ABBA backed by a live 10-piece band playing the vocals originally recorded in the ’70s and ’80s, to the country.

However, the high price tag of around $50-80million is currently endangering the bid, with the debt-burdened NSW State Government unwilling to contribute. Meanwhile, the Victorian State Government is also engaged in its own bid to secure Voyage for a season at Melbourne Park.

Voyage kicked off its international tour in London in May 2022, with the band indicating their intentions to tour the production to Asia, Australia and North America. It will be ABBA’s first tour of Australia since their 1977 visit, and already Voyage in London has scored a five-star review from music industry experts.

For ABBA fans, a Voyage tour of Australia would be an incredible experience, allowing them to enjoy their favourite songs in a totally new and joyful way.
