Disclosure, the dance duo comprised of brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence, have announced the release of their fourth studio album ‘Alchemy’. The independently released album, out via their AWAL imprint Apollo Records, marks the first LP they have released following their departure from Capitol Records.
‘Alchemy’ includes all new material and does not feature any collaborations or samples. In a statement, Guy said, “This record is a celebration of us feeling liberated right now. We’re no longer signed to a major record label. We’re not going to tour this record. We can do whatever we like and be super creative.”
The tracklist for ‘Alchemy’ includes ‘Looking For Love’, ‘Simply Won’t Do’, ‘Higher Than Ever Before’, ‘A Little Bit’, ‘Go The Distance’, ‘Someday…’, ‘We Were In Love’, ‘Sun Showers’, ‘Purify’, ‘Brown Eyes’, and ‘Talk On The Phone’. Fans of the Lawrence brothers won’t want to miss out on this record, as it promises to be an exciting and creative achievement for the duo.
‘Alchemy’ follows their 2020 release ‘Energy’, which had a four-star review from NME. It also marks the 10th anniversary of their debut album ‘Settle’, which was released in 2013 and had a three-star review from NME.
Disclosure’s ‘Alchemy’ is set to be released on July 14th, and is sure to be a record that fans won’t want to miss.
