Cardi B and Offset brought their electric chemistry to the Rolling Loud Miami crowd this weekend, performing some of their well-known collaborations. The power couple, who have been together since 2017 and married secretly in September of that same year, celebrated their daughter Kulture’s fifth birthday last week before taking the stage.

Cardi B surprised the audience with her arrival, screaming “What the fuck is good, motherfuckers?” into the microphone before hopping into their hit single ‘MotorSport’, taken from Migos’s 2018 album ‘Culture II’. She also wowed the crowd with her delivery of ‘Clout’, taken from Offset’s solo debut album ‘Father Of 4’.

The moment Cardi B left the stage, Offset bowed to her in gratitude. Offset also paid tribute to his late friend and former bandmate Takeoff, dedicating a moment of silence to him at the Hard Rock Stadium. He held his arms in prayer as Jackson 5’s ‘Never Can Say Goodbye’ played, while the audience lit up with phone lights in respect of the rapper, who was fatally shot in Houston, Texas in November 2020.

Last month, Offset and fellow former Migos member Quavo paid tribute to Takeoff at the BET Awards, shining a spotlight in between them in order to honour him. Offset told Variety that he cannot accept Takeoff’s death, saying “Talking about Take is hard, man… He’s not here – that shit feels fake, bro”.

Meanwhile, Cardi B remembered Takeoff’s “beautiful soul” in an Instagram post earlier this year.

Cardi B and Offset are both preparing to release new music. Offset’s second album will be out this year, boasting features from Travis Scott, Chloe Bailey and more. Cardi B has also revealed that fans can expect new music from her this summer. The couple and their children will be appearing in the upcoming Baby Shark’s Big Movie! later this year, with their youngest son Wave being introduced as Wavey Shark.
