Victoria Beckham has delighted Spice Girls fans with a video of her singing one of the group’s classic hits at karaoke.
The former Posh Spice took to her official TikTok page to share a clip of her and husband David Beckham singing the 1996 Spice Girls hit ‘Say You’ll Be There’ at a party celebrating soccer superstar Lionel Messi’s Major League Soccer debut with Inter Miami.
The caption of the video read: “Warming up the vocals in Miami! More to come,” hinting that the fashion designer could be returning to the Spice Girls.
Fans were quick to respond to the post, with many expressing their joy at the prospect of a Spice Girls reunion. One commenter wrote: “The return of POSH SPICE OMG LIFE,” while another shared: “Please come back with the other girls! You’re my childhood!”
American blogger Perez Hilton also shared his excitement by tweeting: “Love seeing our #PoshSpice back and excited about singing again! The #SpiceGirls 30th anniversary is upon us!”
The girl group also hinted at a mystery project earlier this year, with Scary Spice (aka Mel B) telling The Sun that the five original members were putting the finishing touches on something that the fans will love.
Beckham previously explained why she could not commit to a full reunion, citing her fashion and beauty lines and her children as reasons. Nonetheless, the Spice Girls are one of the leading contenders to headline Glastonbury Festival 2023, with Mel B expressing her desire to perform at Worthy Farm.
Despite this, Mel C announced that the band won’t be able to take part due to schedule conflicts. Fans remain hopeful that the Spice Girls will eventually be able to make their reunion a reality, with Beckham’s karaoke video only adding fuel to the fire.
