June Jones, the Melbourne-based alt-pop visionary, is back with a brand new single and music video titled ‘Good Girl’. Taking inspiration from Charli XCX, June has crafted a truly unique sound that is sure to be a hit. In the music video for ‘Good Girl’, directed by Jeremy Elphick and Jonno Revanche, June plays two distinct versions of herself – a put together persona representing her public face and another representing her hardworking behind the scenes self.
The single is being released on the independent Chapter Music label, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. June’s last album, ‘Pop Music for Normal Women’, was released in 2022 and received rave reviews from critics. Alex Gallagher from NME described it as “real deal, shoot-for-the-skies pop music”.
