Mitch Rowland to Release Debut Album ‘Come June’ this October

Mitch Rowland, co-writer of pop sensation Harry Styles, is set to release his debut album ‘Come June’ this October. The title track, which was originally demoed in 2019, has been shared alongside the announcement.

In a press release, Rowland opened up about the inspiration behind the track: “We were near the end of making this album, and this song came back to me. It wasn’t part of the plan because of how it was originally recorded with harder drums and bigger guitars – I never pictured it with the rest of the songs. But after some re-approaching and re-recording everything, this song started to mean something again. I guess you could say this is a song for Sarah [Jones, drummer for Styles and Rowland’s wife].”

Rowland first began collaborating with Styles back in 2016, and together they created many iconic hits such as ‘Watermelon Sugar’ and the Grammy Award-winning LP ‘Harry’s House’. After joining Styles’ touring band, Rowland met drummer Sarah Jones and the two eventually tied the knot.

The upcoming album is set for release on October 6th via Giant Music/Erskine. It was produced and mixed by Rob Schnapf, who also played guitar alongside Mitch Rowland, and engineered by Matt Schuessler. The keyboards and bass were by Jerry Borgé and Matt Schuessler respectively.

‘Come June’ album track list includes: ‘Bluebells’, ‘Shadow Range’, ‘See The Way You Roll’, ‘On The Line’, ‘Illusionist’, ‘When It All Falls Down’, ‘The One I Love’, ‘Medium Low’, ‘Here Comes the Comeback’, ‘All The Way Back’, ‘Goes With Everything’, and ‘Come June’.

Fans of music can pre-order the album now to get their hands on the upcoming release. With the success of his previous collaborations, fans of both Rowland and Styles can expect great things from this album.
