Holly Humberstone has just released a new collaborative single, ‘Superbloodmon’, with d4vd from her upcoming debut album, ‘Paint My Bedroom Black’.
The two artists first met in London and quickly wrote the song together in just a few hours, capturing the idea of two people witnessing the same thing no matter where they are in the world. They premiered the song on stage together in London, an experience d4vd described as “really effortless and special”.
Humberstone revealed that the song was inspired by the feelings of leaving home and the people you love behind, and that it was the title, ‘Superbloodmoon’ that sparked the creative process.
The single is the second preview of Humberstone’s debut album, which is set to be released on October 19th. Prior to its announcement, Humberstone released the double A-side singles ‘Antichrist’ and ‘Room Service’.
d4vd is no stranger to the spotlight, having been recently featured as the inaugural cover artist on The Cover, a weekly cover story featuring emerging talent from across the globe. To celebrate, he curated a ‘songs for tour’ playlist, featuring songs from Humberstone, Clairo, Billie Eilish and more, available to stream on both Spotify and Apple Music.
Holly Humberstone and d4vd’s ‘Superbloodmon’ is the perfect song to bring together the two artists’ styles, and fans of indie and pop music will be sure to love the new track.
