Taehyun and Jaehyun Cover BTS Jungkook’s ‘Seven’ and Receive His Praise

Tomorrow X Together’s Taehyun has given fans a special treat with his cover of Jungkook’s ‘Seven’ from BTS. Taehyun took to the Weverse community fan platform to post his version of the tune, which he performed with an instrumental version of the original. In the post’s caption, he expressed his admiration for the track, commenting that it was a “masterpiece”, “godly”, and “great”. Shortly after, fellow K-pop star Jaehyun from BOYNEXTDOOR also shared his rendition of the song on Twitter.

Jungkook was clearly touched by the covers, responding on Weverse and thanking both artists for their versions. ‘Seven’ is the BTS member’s solo debut, accompanied by a video featuring South Korean actress Han So-hee. The single also features American rapper Latto, and is expected to be the first release from Jungkook’s upcoming solo mini-album, which he aims to drop in November 2023.

The song recently scored Jungkook his first win on South Korean music show Inkigayo. To celebrate, he invited fellow BTS member V to join him on stage for an encore performance of ‘Seven’. Fans are sure to be delighted with the covers of the song, and we can’t wait to hear what else Jungkook has up his sleeve for the upcoming mini-album.
