Kylie Minogue has recently expressed her admiration for indie bands, particularly The Killers, and stated that she would love to collaborate with them in the studio. The singer, who has previously worked with artists such as Nick Cave and Manic Street Preachers, believes that teaming up with different artists always provides something to learn from.
Minogue also mentioned that she would be interested in working with Beyoncé and Rihanna, as well as having Margot Robbie play her in a biopic. The star’s 1995 collaboration with Nick Cave, ‘Where The Wild Roses Grow’, has recently been discussed, with Cave saying that it was quite a daring move for Minogue to take. He described that he and the band were not exactly in the best shape at the time.
The singer’s upcoming album ‘Tension’ is set to be released on September 22nd via Darenote/BMG and is available for pre-saving and pre-ordering. The Killers’ frontman Brandon Flowers recently joined Elton John to perform ‘Tiny Dancer’ at John’s final UK show at Glastonbury.
Kylie Minogue’s first-ever Las Vegas residency is also set to take place at the new Voltaire nightclub at The Venetian between November and January. Fans of the songstress and indie music are sure to be excited to see what comes from any potential collaborations.
