Taylor Swift has certainly made a mark on the world with her generosity. The ‘Eras Tour’ has been a huge success, and to thank the hard working crew behind it, the pop superstar has given out a whopping $55million (£43million) in bonuses.

The news comes after it was reported that the singer had gifted the production truck drivers – who are responsible for hauling her equipment to each live show – bonuses of $100,000 (£77,000) each. Taking it one step further, generous amounts of extra income have also been shared with the remainder of the ‘Eras Tour’ crew.

The tour has been a huge success and is expected to bring in over $1billion (£778million) in total, which is likely why the hefty amount of bonuses were offered. Michael Scherkenbach, the founder of transportation and logistics company Shomotion, confirmed the gift in a LinkedIn post.

The ‘Eras Tour’ is predicted to become the highest-grossing tour in music history. Swift has dazzled the crowds with 44-song setlists, countless outfit changes and a number of special guests. In Seattle, the crowd at her shows even caused activity similar to a 2.3 magnitude earthquake.

The US leg of the tour is nearly over, after kicking off in Glendale, Arizona back in March. Next year, Swift will head across the pond and around the world to play shows in Europe, Asia and Australia. The UK and European leg of the tour will start in Paris on May 9 and conclude in London on August 17, 2024.

It’s no surprise that Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’ has been such a success. Her generosity and commitment to her crew have certainly made it an unforgettable experience.
