Alice Cooper recently shared his thoughts on what could have been if John Lennon had not been tragically killed in 1980. The rocker and close friend of Lennon and Paul McCartney revealed that the band would have absolutely reunited.
Cooper, who spent time with the two during the 70s at his Hollywood Vampires drinking club, revealed that the two were still best friends no matter what was going on. He also suggested that Lennon wanted to make the music more political while McCartney wasn’t as keen.
On December 8, 1980, John Lennon was killed by Mark Chapman outside of his Upper West Side apartment. Chapman later pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and was sentenced to prison for 20 years to life.
Noel Gallagher recently shared his thoughts on joining a supergroup with the surviving members of The Beatles, McCartney and Ringo Starr. The musician said he would “fucking pay to be in it” and asked promoter Harvey Goldsmith to make it happen.
Meanwhile, a letter written by George Harrison’s mother showed that she was “disgusted” by how audiences would scream throughout The Beatles’ live shows.
