British musician Jai Paul is making his return to the live stage with an exciting string of worldwide shows in 2023. Kicking off the tour is a two-night stint at the Mayan Theatre in Los Angeles on September 26 and 27, followed by a performance at the Regency Ballroom in San Francisco on September 29. The artist will also be headlining the Portola Music Festival in San Francisco the same day.
Paul will then make his way to Paris to perform at the Élysée Montmartre on November 27, and then to Berlin to take the stage at Huxley’s the following day. Fans in Melbourne will be able to take part in the festivities on December 4 and 5, when Paul will be performing two shows at 170 Russell.
Tickets for the tour will be available through a ballot system on Paul’s official website. LA and San Francisco show ticket submissions must be done by 10pm PST on Wednesday, August 23. For the remaining shows, the ballot must be completed by 9 am local time on Monday, August 28. Each person is limited to two tickets, and all winners will be announced on August 28.
The enigmatic artist made his live music debut earlier this year at Coachella, ten years after the leak of his debut album. He also performed two gigs in New York and two in London, where NME praised him for a “flawless comeback”.
In anticipation of his live tour, Paul shared a message with his fans on his Reddit page, expressing his excitement and gratitude. “I always wanted to do something like this but yeah Im not gonna lie I am absolutely shitting it,” he wrote. “Anyway, I just wanted to let u lot know how much I appreciate all you staying with me for all this time. Hopefully it’s gonna be worth it.”
