Noel Gallagher recently opened up about his friendship with U2 frontman Bono, and the time he and Bruce Springsteen shared a hilarious selfie that left Bono feeling left out.
In a recent interview with Shuffle, the Oasis star fondly recalled his time meeting with The Boss in Ibiza, where the two musicians randomly bumped into each other. Gallagher described Springsteen as “an amazing dude” and said that he had the “utmost respect” for him.
The pair later decided to have a bit of fun at Bono’s expense, sending him a selfie of the two of them having lunch together – which apparently left the U2 singer feeling a bit FOMO. Gallagher went on to describe Bono as one of his “dearest friends”, and shared how he felt about going on tour with the band.
“I’ll tell you what, I was on tour with them for the best part of a year and I have only just recovered,” Gallagher said. “It was really great fun, they are really great people and I love them dearly.”
Gallagher is set to perform with his band High Flying Birds in Dublin on Saturday, and will then be embarking on a UK tour later this year. The legendary artist also revealed who he would pick for an Oasis reunion line-up, if that day ever comes.
