Mysterious masked collective Sleep Token have recently made their presence felt in the rock and metal scene with the release of their third album ‘Take Me Back To Eden’ and its accompanying hit single ‘The Summoning’. The album has catapulted the group into the limelight, soon selling out their debut Wembley Arena show in a mere 10 minutes.
The band recently took to Instagram to warn their fans about those pretending to be members of the group in order to exploit their community. They urged fans to be aware of any unsolicited contact from someone claiming to be a part of the collective and to report any such profiles to the relevant authorities.
The band’s upcoming tour will see them perform a string of shows across both the United States and Europe. They began their warm-up to their London show at this year’s Reading & Leeds Festival, where they proved metal is still alive and thriving by performing some of their most popular tracks from the new album. NME described the performance as “the band reaching the peak of their powers”.
The unique sound and striking aesthetic of Sleep Token have allowed them to gain a devoted following in a very short amount of time. With their upcoming tour, they are sure to capture even more hearts and minds.
