Indie-pop trio Chvrches have marked a new milestone in their career, celebrating 10 years since the release of their highly acclaimed debut album, ‘The Bones of What You Believe’. To commemorate the occasion, the band has shared two new versions of their debut singles ‘Lies’ and ‘The Mother We Share’, as well as hosting a live premiere of one of their 2013 concerts.

The album, produced by the band and recorded in Iain Cook’s studio in Glasgow, was mixed by Rich Costey and has now been remastered for the 10th Anniversary Edition by Gavin Lurssen. Alongside the original 12 tracks from the 2013 album, four previously unheard songs and five live tracks will appear on the new edition, set for release on October 13.

Lead singer Lauren Mayberry commented on the milestone, saying, “It feels quite strange that ‘Bones’ is almost a decade old. In some ways, it’s like it just happened, but also like that era was a lifetime ago. We are very grateful to all the fans who gave that album a special place in their heart, and still show us so much kindness today.”

Earlier this month, Mayberry made her solo debut at the 9:30 Club in Washington DC. She performed renditions of Madonna’s ‘Like A Prayer’, her own debut single ‘Are You Awake’, and performances of previously unheard solo material.

Fans of Chvrches’ music and their fans of Mayberry’s solo venture can pre-order the 10th Anniversary Edition of ‘The Bones of What You Believe’ now, out October 13.
