Last night (September 23), PJ Harvey performed her first show in six years in Dublin. The artist played her new album, I Inside The Old Year Dying, in its entirety, before moving on to her back-catalogue to treat fans to some songs which had not been played live in some time.
Highlights included ‘Angelene’, which had not been performed since 2012, ‘The Desperate Kingdom Of Love’, ‘Dress’, and ‘Man-Size’, all of which had been absent from Harvey’s live shows for a decade. To close out her main set, Harvey paid tribute to her classic material with performances of ‘Down By The Water’ and ‘To Bring You My Love’. Her encore was comprised of ‘C’mon Billy’ and ‘White Chalk’.
Harvey’s tour will see her take to stages across the UK and Europe until the end of October. Fans can purchase tickets and check out the full list of dates on her website.
