British heavy metal band Judas Priest unveiled details of their upcoming 19th studio album, ‘Invincible Shield’, during a live show last night (October 7). The record is due to be released on March 8th, 2024 and fans can pre-order it now.
The new album will be the bands first record in six years, since the release of Firepower in 2018. The first single from the album, ‘Panic Attack’, will be available on October 13th.
Rob Halford, vocalist for Judas Priest, spoke about the bands experience of starting work on the album during the coronavirus pandemic. Despite the unusual circumstances, Halford spoke of his determination to continue the growth of the record.
This summer, Halford teamed up with country legend Dolly Parton and Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx for a track called ‘Bygones’, which was a preview for Parton’s upcoming rock album ‘Rockstar’.
Judas Priest have been in the music industry since 1969 and remain one of the most influential metal bands of all time. The band’s upcoming album is sure to be a hit amongst fans and critics alike.
