Blink-182 have delivered another new single to their adoring fans – listen to ‘Fell In Love’ below.
The romantic and powerful song follows lead singer Mark Hoppus as he reflects on the “lonely” nights he experienced before meeting his special someone. The lyrics suggest that their meeting was predetermined, “at a party”, with the beloved chorus “Do you remember the time, remember the time we fell in love?”.
The band, comprising Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker, released the single on October 13th, accompanied by an official lyric video. It is the fourth single taken from their upcoming album ‘One More Time…’, set for release on October 20th. Fans have already heard ‘Edging’, ‘More Than You Know’ and the title track from the LP.
The project marks the first time the classic Blink-182 lineup have collaborated on a full-length album since 2011’s ‘Neighborhoods’. DeLonge quit the band in 2015 to focus on his extraterrestrial research and his side project, Angels & Airwaves. During that time, Hoppus and Barker released 2016’s ‘California’ and 2019’s ‘Nine’, featuring guitarist Matt Skiba of Alkaline Trio.
The band are currently performing a series of UK arena shows, receiving four-star reviews from fans delighted to have them back in town. The tour is set to continue with dates in Birmingham and Manchester.
