Today, Bring Me The Horizon and BABYMETAL performed their collaboration ‘Kingslayer’ live together for the first time ever. The two acts delighted fans at Bring Me The Horizon’s headline show at WORLD Kinen Hall in Kobe, Japan with a special choreographed performance of the track.
The two acts first announced their collaboration earlier this year, with BABYMETAL having previously told NME that they’d love to work with Bring Me The Horizon. Speaking about the collaboration, BMTH’s Oli Sykes said: “We wanted to do something with them for ages. We’ve got a really special connection with them, even though we don’t speak the same language. We don’t hang out or have conversations, but when you see them, it makes you really happy.”
The collaboration follows Yungblud’s pair of collaborations with Bring Me The Horizon, with their latest, ‘Happier’, having been released last week. BABYMETAL meanwhile have released a single with Rage Against The Machine’s Tom Morello, ‘Metali’, earlier this year.
The performance of ‘Kingslayer’ thrilled fans, with fans taking to social media to share their reactions and videos from the show. It promises to be an exciting collaboration between two of the biggest names in rock music.
