Liam Gallagher has recently announced that he will be taking to the road in 2024 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the iconic Oasis debut album, ‘Definitely Maybe’. The former Oasis frontman promised fans an unforgettable experience, with no solo material to be featured in the show. Instead, Gallagher hinted that he would be playing some of the album’s B-sides, including the band’s cover of The Beatles’ ‘I Am The Walrus’.
The rockstar also added that he wanted to recreate the album’s iconic cover on stage, with flamingos and lasagna featured to bring the image to life. To add to the spectacle, Gallagher has been teasing that he may be joined by former Oasis guitarist Bonehead on the tour.
Despite Liam’s enthusiasm for the tour, his brother and former Oasis bandmate Noel Gallagher has been adamant that a reunion will not be happening anytime soon. Noel did, however, confirm a 30th anniversary reissue of the seminal album. Liam also recently hinted that his new solo album is finished.
The ‘Definitely Maybe 30 Years’ UK and Ireland tour will kick off in Sheffield in June 2024, with additional dates in Cardiff, London, Manchester and Glasgow. Dublin will see the final two shows of the tour. Any remaining tickets are available now.
The tour is sure to be an unforgettable experience for fans, with Liam Gallagher putting on a show like no other. Anyone looking for a unique evening of music and nostalgia should be sure to pick up their tickets soon.
