Pop sensation Dua Lipa is set to release her new single ‘Houdini’ later this week, and has teased fans with a snippet of the uplifting pop single. To mark the occasion, she will be holding three special “surprise launch events” in London, Los Angeles and Tokyo across the globe.
The single is rumored to be produced by Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker, and leaked credits on X/Twitter appear to confirm this. This news follows the pop star’s hints of new music last month, when she wiped her Instagram clear and changed her profile picture.
Fans are eager to hear the new single, as it will be the first since her full-length album ‘Future Nostalgia’ released in 2020. Reviewers praised the album, citing it as a “bright, bold collection of pop majesty to dance away your anxieties to”.
Dua Lipa is also reported to have acquired the rights to her catalogue of songs in a deal with her previous publishers, TAP Music. Over the weekend, there were reports that she is set to headline next year’s Glastonbury Festival, however festival organizer Emily Eavis has since responded saying the reports are “untrue”.
Fans will eagerly be waiting to hear her new single, ‘Houdini’, which is due to be released on November 9th.
