Jungkook of BTS Makes Television Debut with Performance of ‘Standing Next To You’, Receives Positive Reviews

Jungkook of the world-conquering K-pop band BTS made his television debut with the performance of his new solo track ‘Standing Next To You’ on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. The performance featured the singer performing the opening verse of the track alone, illuminated by a warm yellow light, before being joined by a troupe of backing dancers. The debut of the track arrived three days after Jungkook released his much-anticipated solo record, ‘Golden’.

The album, which featured the singles ‘Seven’ with Latto and ‘3D’ with Jack Harlow, has been met with a great reception, becoming the fastest song to reach 1billion streams on Spotify and debuting at the top of the Billboard Hot 100. In addition to his television debut, Jungkook will also be performing live at the Jangchung Arena in Seoul on November 20, which will be available to watch internationally via livestream.

In a recent interview with Jimmy Fallon, Jungkook revealed his ongoing fear of microwaves, which he has had since he was a child, before discussing his upcoming performances and plans to make more songs in order to give fans across the globe the full-blown tour they deserve.
