Italian rockers Måneskin have kicked off their ‘RUSH!’ world tour with a night of unforgettable music, dazzling the crowd at Hanover’s EXPO Plaza with a 20-song set.
Opening their show with their hit ‘Zitti E Buoni’ and ‘I Wanna Be Your Slave’, the group also treated the audience to a cover of Four Seasons’ ‘Beggin’ and a rendition of Blur’s classic 1994 Britpop anthem ‘Girls & Boys’. The band’s frontman expressed his appreciation for Blur’s songwriting and called it a “beautiful song.”
Paolo Nutini’s ‘Iron Sky’ was also performed at the show, as well as a brand new track that the band has yet to reveal the title of. Bassist Victoria De Angelis recently spoke to NME about the creative process of writing their new music, saying that fame has changed their approach to writing. “Of course, it must have changed because we’ve evolved and we’re growing,” she said.
During their gig in Liverpool earlier this year, NME praised the band’s “party-starting energy” and noted that their charisma was “oozing” out of the performance.
Måneskin’s next show will be on September 6 in Nancy, France, and the band will be touring until December, visiting cities all around the world. Fans can purchase tickets for their upcoming gigs here.
