Cardi B told SiriusXM’s DJ Whoo Kid on the Whoo’s House radio show that the song is “a little different” to ‘WAP’, but she’s confident in the collaboration. She said that she wants Megan Thee Stallion to have full trust in her, and that when it came to creating the music video, the pair put a lot of thought into it.
The track was written and produced by some of the biggest names in the industry, and has already been gaining a lot of attention. Cardi B said that the process of creating the song began with the chorus of ‘Bongos’, which she initially thought would be the hook.
