Taylor Swift recently revealed the back covers and vault tracks for her upcoming release of ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’. The singer-songwriter announced last month that the album will arrive on October 27, 2023, the ninth anniversary of the original 2014 album. Swift also partnered with Google to create puzzles that revealed the vault tracks once 33 million puzzles were solved.

In a post detailing the tracks, Swift wrote that it was a “new soundtrack” and thanked fans for playing along and making the reveals “chaotic fun”. The five vault tracks are ‘Is It Over Now?’, ‘Now That We Don’t Talk’, ‘Say Don’t Go’, ‘Suburban Legends’, and ‘Slut!’.

Swift has already released ‘Fearless (Taylor’s Version)’, ‘Red (Taylor’s Version)’ and most recently ‘Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)’. She is re-recording her first six studio albums, spanning 2006’s self-titled to ‘Reputation’ (2017). The three ‘(Taylor’s Version)’ albums feature collaborations from artists such as Phoebe Bridgers, Ed Sheeran, Fall Out Boy and Paramore’s Hayley Williams.

Last week, a spokesperson for Swift reportedly confirmed that Matty Healy of The 1975 will not be appearing on ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’. The pair had reportedly recorded a track together for the reworked album.

At last week’s 2023 MTV VMAs, Swift made history with nine awards, tying for the most wins in one night, and second most overall wins coming in second to Beyoncé (who has a total of 26 VMAs as a solo artist).

Fans can pre-order/pre-save ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’ now to get ready for the October 27 release.
