K-pop singer and SHINee member Taemin has just announced ‘Guilty’, his first solo comeback in two years. The mini-album is set to drop on October 30 at 6PM KST.
Taemin’s last solo release was ‘Advice’, which came out in May 2021 shortly before he began his mandatory South Korean military service. So far, artwork for the album has been revealed, displaying a piece of white clothing on the ground next to the shoes and legs of an individual, with the album title superimposed on top.
This comeback follows SHINee’s 15th anniversary celebration, which included the release of ‘Hard’ in June 2023. Although receiving three stars from music outlets, ‘Hard’ was described as pleasant but not reaching the highs SHINee is capable of.
Taemin has also been active with SHINee this year, with other members Key and Onew releasing solo material. Key dropped ‘Killer’ and ‘Good & Great’, while Onew shared his first Korean-language album, ‘Circle’.
To celebrate their 15th anniversary, SHINee will also be releasing a documentary titled ‘My SHINee World’ in November. The film is expected to feature never-before-seen content from the group, as well as outlining their journey with fans so far.
Fans of K-pop won’t want to miss out on Taemin’s upcoming comeback, ‘Guilty’, which is sure to showcase his passion and flair that earned him the title of K-pop’s most reliable ace.
