K-pop fans were delighted when boyband RIIZE unveiled their music video for the new single, ‘Talk Saxy’. Taking inspiration from the likes of *NSYNC and B2K, the video features the band members in matching outfits and sports jerseys, as well as a set design reminiscent of the ’90s.
The groovy chorus of ‘Talk Saxy’ encourages listeners to “talk to me exactly what you feel” and “hide nothing, show me all and everything”. The single is RIIZE’s first release since their debut in September 2023 with ‘Get A Guitar’, which was accompanied by the B-side track, ‘Memories’.
RIIZE are the first boyband from SM Entertainment since the agency formed NCT in 2016. The group consists of two former NCT members, Shotaro and Sungchan, who left the group in May this year.
Aside from RIIZE’s new release, BTS’ V has taken to social media to assure fans he is “all good” following a stalking incident. His label, Big Hit Music, has released a statement to express their zero-tolerance policy to such crimes. On the other hand, Doona! star Bae Suzy recently opened up about potential retirement from the entertainment industry, saying it could happen “at any time”.
