Ed Sheeran stunned fans with a surprise performance at XS Nightclub in Las Vegas alongside electronic duo The Chainsmokers. The club-goers were treated to a unique collaboration between the pair, with the ‘Perfect’ singer joining them on stage for performances of some of his biggest hits as well as some unexpected covers.

The night began with Alex Pall and Drew Taggart spinning records for fans, shortly followed by Sheeran’s arrival after completing his rescheduled show at Allegiant Stadium that same night. During his surprise appearance, the Grammy-winning artist sang some of his biggest anthems including ‘Shape Of You’ and ‘Bad Habits’, as well as a rendition of DJ Snake and Lil Jon’s ‘Turn Down for What’. The duo kept the crowd laughing by swapping out the song after the drop for an unexpected cover of ABBA’s ‘Dancing Queen’.

The Chainsmokers also shared a clip of the moment on their Instagram, featuring Ed Sheeran serenading them during a performance of their hit ‘Closer’.

The stop at Allegiant Stadium marked the final show of Sheeran’s US tour, which also saw him bring out Brandon Flowers from The Killers to perform their classic ‘Mr Brightside’. The British singer-songwriter will now continue his trek with two shows in London before embarking on a European tour next year.

In other news, The Chainsmokers recently collaborated with Mae Stephens and Alok for the track ‘Jungle’, and made headlines earlier this year for their confession of taking part in a threesome with a fan.
