Scottish pop sensation Lewis Capaldi has given Taylor Swift’s classic hit “Love Story” a new spin, performing it for the second time at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend.
The “Before You Go” singer first covered the song earlier this year at a show in Newcastle. At the Dundee event, he seamlessly transitioned from his own song into a beautiful acoustic version of Swift’s hit.
Capaldi has recently announced a “super intimate” Reading & Leeds warm-up show. The singer-songwriter released his second album “Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent” in May and is now gearing up to headline the Main Stage West at the dual event this August.
On June 6, Capaldi will be performing at The Wardrobe in Leeds with support from James Marriott. The 400-capacity venue will be buzzing with excitement as the singer prepares to hit the stage.
After his warm-up show, he will be headlining the Reading and Leeds Festival alongside Billie Eilish, Sam Fender, The Killers, Imagine Dragons and Foals. He will also be appearing at Glastonbury and playing three huge outdoor headline dates across the UK and Ireland.
Fans of Lewis Capaldi can get tickets to his remaining shows here. Whether you’re looking to see him perform “Love Story” or his own hits, this is a show you won’t want to miss.
