Music fans across Australia are eagerly anticipating an exciting lineup of concerts in 2024. Mark, Tom and Travis Blink-182 are set to tour for the first time in almost 20 years, while English synth-pop legends Depeche Mode and pop star Pink are both making long-awaited visits. Additionally, Mclusky’s postponed 20th anniversary shows celebrating their 2002 album ‘Mclusky Do Dallas’ and Elvis Costello’s Byron Bay Bluesfest 2023 shows are both back on the calendar.

Rumours have been swirling about international acts such as Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour and Beyoncé’s ‘Renaissance’ tour potentially making appearances in Australia, but only time will tell.

Kicking off the lineup, Mclusky are set to return in January. Frontman Andy “Falco” Falkous has been providing updates on his recovery from some ongoing ear issues via Twitter, and the band are expected to resume their tour in early 2024.

Blink-182 are set to take the country by storm in February. With guitarist/vocalist Tom DeLonge rejoining the band last year, fans will be able to witness the first Mark, Tom and Travis shows to grace our shores since 2004. Chicago punks Rise Against will also be joining them on the run, playing their first Australian shows since 2019.

February also sees the return of Pink. The American singer-songwriter has a slew of dates booked, bringing songs from her ninth studio album ‘Trustfall’ to stadiums around the country.

Matchbox Twenty and Goo Goo Dolls are set to play nine arena shows over two weeks in February, while American singer-songwriter Judy Collins will tour theatres and concert halls across the country in March. Elvis Costello & The Imposters will headline at the Sydney Opera House and Melbourne’s Palais Theatre.

Finally, in April, Niall Horan will take ‘The Show’ on the road down under in support of his third solo album.

2024 is set to be a huge year for live music in Australia, with a number of incredible acts making their way down under. Keep an eye out for more announcements as the year approaches, and make sure to check NME for all the latest concert and festival news.
