K-pop fans have just been given something to look forward to in August, as girl group TWICE have revealed a teaser image hinting at an upcoming release.
On June 5 at midnight KST, the popular girl group shared a poster on their social media accounts, hinting at a project titled ‘Killin’ Me Good’ coming in August. The image featured a hand holding a steering wheel, leaving many fans to speculate whether it was connected to TWICE leader and main vocalist Jihyo’s long-awaited solo debut.
Adding to the speculation, the image file was named “TW-JH-M1”, and the singer has been performing an unreleased solo track titled ‘Nightmare’ on the group’s world tour. This would make Jihyo the second member of TWICE to make a solo debut, after vocalist Nayeon released her EP ‘Im Nayeon’ and its lead single ‘POP!’ in June 2022.
The group’s previous releases as a collective have included their March mini-album ‘Ready To Be’, and its lead single ‘Set Me Free’. They have since been on their ‘Ready To Be’ world tour, which has seen them perform in Japan, Australia, and will soon take them to North America. The tour will then continue in Asia and Europe in September 2023.
We can’t wait to hear what TWICE have in store for us in August!
