Canadian rapper Drake has just released a new project in collaboration with his songwriter and collaborator, Kenza Samir. Titles Ruin Everything, A Stream of Consciousness by Kenza Samir and Aubrey Graham is Drake’s first-ever published poetry book, which is now available for purchase.
In an Instagram post, Drake expressed his enthusiasm for the new project, saying he has “never wanted people to buy or support something more in my life.” Drake and Samir have been teasing the project since last year, when Drake mentioned it on the debut episode of his radio show, Table For One.
Drake’s last album, Her Loss, was a collaborative effort with 21 Savage, and while it was met with positive reviews, some critiques noted that the songwriting was “lazy”. However, fans will get to experience a completely different side of Drake’s creativity with the new poetry book.
In April, Drake also released a solo single, called ‘Search & Rescue’, which sampled Kim Kardashian’s quote from the series finale of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. He recently had another viral moment as well, when his credit card got declined on livestream.
