Tonight Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow brought the house down to close out Glastonbury 2023 with their hit collaboration “Industry Baby”. The performance capped off a weekend of incredible performances from some of the music industry’s biggest names, including Blondie, Yusuf/Cat Stevens and Elton John.
Lil Nas X kicked off the set with his hit single “Montero (Call Me by Your Name)” and ran through some of his debut album’s biggest hits. He also mounted a horse for his classic “Old Town Road”. To close out the set, he welcomed Jack Harlow to the stage to perform their 2021 track.
Before introducing Harlow, Nas said: “I need you to make some noise, I’ve got a special friend – everybody give it up for Jack Harlow!” The crowd erupted with cheers and energy as they performed their hit single and mashed it up with Michael Jackson’s classic “Beat It”.
The performance was met with enthusiasm from fans, with many expressing their excitement on social media. Charlie Feasts tweeted “oh hey @jackharlow”, while Kayla Saunders wrote “Jack Harlow just popped up in Lil Nas X’s set at Glasto for Industry Baby.” Callum also praised Harlow, writing “jack harlow killed that”.
In addition to Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow, the weekend was packed with performances from some of the music industry’s biggest names. Blondie gave an incredible set filled with hits, and Yusuf/Cat Stevens was met with rapturous applause for his Legends’ Slot. As the festival comes to a close, fans are speculating that Britney Spears could make a surprise appearance during Elton John’s closing set.
