Australian pop artist Peach PRC is making waves both at home and abroad, with a feature on NME’s ‘The Cover’ this week and a support slot for BLACKPINK at BST Hyde Park this weekend. With her bright bubblegum pop sound, Peach PRC is sure to bring a smile to listeners’ faces and a catchy tune to their ears.

The artist has put together an exclusive playlist to accompany the launch of ‘The Cover’ – ‘Songs I’m Listening To’ – which is a 25-track collection of pop anthems, including some classic hits by The Veronicas, Lady Gaga, Hilary Duff, Aqua and Paris Hilton. It also features some modern bops by Carly Rae Jepsen, Muna and Maisie Peters.

In an interview with NME, Peach PRC spoke of her appreciation of the “silly, fun pop” genre which, in her view, is becoming increasingly rare. “I think we’re entering a new age of pop where it’s very artistic and it’s very dark,” she said. “But I really miss that really silly, fun pop that didn’t take itself so seriously. It was just fun to jump around to.”

The artist also expressed her commitment to authenticity and accountability: “I always want to be true to myself and to others – I don’t want anyone to be seeing a façade or a fake version of me, whether that’s positive or negative.”

This is sure to be an exciting weekend for Peach PRC fans, with the artist appearing on NME’s ‘The Cover’ and performing at BST Hyde Park. Be sure to check out ‘Songs I’m Listening To’ and get ready to jump around to some of the best hits of the past and present!
