Jon Batiste Releases Highly Anticipated New Album ‘World Music Radio’, Featuring Collaborations with Lana Del Rey, Lil Wayne & More

Jon Batiste has released his highly anticipated new album, ‘World Music Radio’, featuring collaborations with some of the biggest names in music. The 20-song record features appearances from Grammy-winning artist Lana Del Rey, rap icon Lil Wayne, emerging talents NewJeans and Kenny G, Leigh-Anne, Native Soul, Jon Bellion and Fireboy DML.

The first single, ‘Calling Your Name’, is out now, with ‘Drink Water’ (featuring Jon Bellion and Fireboy DML) set to be released on Wednesday (July 12). Batiste said the album is a “concept album that takes place in the interstellar regions of the universe”, adding that he put “a range of collaborations in locations all across the globe” to make his vision a reality.

Described as “liberating” and “filled with joy”, ‘World Music Radio’ features a range of musical styles from around the world, from hip-hop and R&B to funk, jazz and soul. The unique blend of sounds is sure to get listeners moving and grooving, with Batiste’s signature soulful melodies and catchy hooks providing an uplifting soundtrack to any occasion.
