EXO have dropped their seventh studio album, ‘Exist’, and the lead single ‘Cream Soda’ has an accompanying music video. The K-pop boyband has not released any new music in two years, and the video features seven members, with Kai unable to join due to his military enlistment. The video pays tribute to Kai with a placard bearing his name.
Neither ‘Cream Soda’ nor ‘Exist’ features EXO’s ninth member Lay, who has been on hiatus from the group since 2017. He last joined the group in 2021 for ‘Don’t Fight the Feeling’.
The group is also currently working on a new reality show, which was confirmed by SM Entertainment. All the active members of EXO are set to film the show in Korea.
After a dispute with SM Entertainment, EXO members Baekhyun, Xiumin and Chen have resolved differences and reached an amicable agreement with the label, following careful discussions. This follows their filing to terminate their contracts with the agency last month, alleging mistreatment and unfair contract terms.
EXO’s latest album, ‘Exist’, is sure to be a hit with fans, and the group continues to push boundaries in the K-pop world.
