Taylor Swift’s upcoming ‘Eras’ tour across Europe and the UK is causing a frenzy as ticket sales have been temporarily halted by Ticketmaster France. The star’s fans had to register and receive a unique code to be able to purchase tickets, but due to the website crashing, the sale of tickets has been put on hold.
Initially, Ticketmaster announced on their official Twitter page that they were aware of the issues and were working to resolve them. An hour later, they confirmed that the ticket sale for the Paris show had been paused and that they would update fans with a new on-sale time soon.
The ‘Eras’ tour was announced last month and will kick off in Paris on May 9, 2024, ending in London on August 17, 2024. This is not the first time the ticketing website has had to deal with overwhelming demand, as it experienced “historically unprecedented demand” in November when tickets for the US dates went live.
In other news, Taylor Swift recently announced 14 new tour dates in the UK and EU, with Paramore as support, seemingly ruling her out as a potential headliner for Glastonbury 2024.
Fans are eagerly awaiting the new on-sale time for the Paris show, as well as for the other European dates, as Taylor Swift’s concerts always promise to be an unforgettable experience. For now, they can look forward to the amazing performance the star is sure to deliver.
