Paramore frontwoman Hayley Williams stunned fans with a beautiful cover of Beyoncé’s ‘I Miss You’ at a recent live show. Footage of the performance and the full setlist can be found below.

The incredible moment occurred at a Houston show on July 11, during the second leg of the band’s North American tour. The cover of the track, co-written by Beyoncé and Frank Ocean, was part of the a cappella segment of the show. It served as a tribute to the singer, who hails from Houston, and was preceded by a rendition of ‘Liar’.

Following the cover, the group moved into a performance of Hayley’s own song ‘Crystal Clear’, taken from her debut solo album ‘Petals For Armor’ released in 2020.

The Houston setlist featured an impressive 23 songs, including ‘You First’, ‘The News’, ‘Playing God’, ‘Decode’, ‘Last Hope’, ‘Hard Times’, ‘Figure 8’, ‘Misery Business’, and ‘Ain’t it Fun’. Williams received a huge cheer from the crowd, and it seemed that the band was having the time of their lives.

This isn’t the first time Williams has expressed admiration for Beyoncé. In 2014, she was overcome by nerves about being in the same room as the pop star while accepting the award for Trailblazer Of The Year at Billboard’s Women In Music Awards.

Paramore have included various covers in their live performances, such as Blondie’s ‘Heart of Glass’ and Whitney Houston’s ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)’.

Williams recently collaborated with Taylor Swift on the song ‘Castles Crumbling’, featured on Swift’s re-recorded album ‘Speak Now (Taylor’s Version). The band will be joining Swift’s UK and European Tour ‘The Eras’ Tour in summer 2023.

Fans of Paramore and music in general can find footage of the show, as well as the full setlist, below.
