Rapper Lil Durk put on an incredible show for fans at Chicago’s United Center on Saturday night (August 12). However, his set was unfortunately cut short after reports of a man with a gun outside the venue prompted an evacuation. Thankfully, after police investigation, the reports were false.

The United Center released a statement about the night, saying: “We are working closely with authorities to investigate all incidents from last evening at the WGCI Summer Jam show. It became apparent for all involved that ending the show early was in everyone’s best interest as the safety of our guests and employees is a priority. We are thankful that initial incident reports were false and that guests exited the facility safely.”

Unfortunately, some audience members took advantage of the chaotic situation and were seen looting merchandise as they exited the venue. Lil Durk took to his Instagram Story to call out the looters, saying: “Don’t believe the hype we bigger [than] big thank you Chicago. Till next time and who all stole the merchandise tag me so I can repost y’all crazy ass.”

Fortunately, the commotion caused no injuries or arrests. Lil Durk recently featured on GloRilla’s single ‘Ex’s’, and fans are eagerly awaiting his next musical release.
