Hip-hop fans were in for a treat last night when Earl Sweatshirt brought out Tyler, the Creator for a special performance at The Novo in Los Angeles. The show was part of a tour celebrating the five-year anniversary of his album ‘Doris’.

The two rappers took to the stage to perform their track ‘Woah’, and footage of the performance quickly began circulating online. Fans were delighted to see the two artists together again, as it has been nearly a decade since they first collaborated as part of their group Odd Future.

The tour will continue next week, with shows in Chicago on August 22nd and Brooklyn on August 23rd. It will then wrap up with a performance at KOKO in London on August 25th.

Tyler, the Creator will also be curating the Camp Flog Gnaw festival in Los Angeles this year, which was announced earlier this week. The festival will be headlined by SZA, with additional acts such as The Hillbillies, Turnstile, PinkPantheress, Clipse, Kevin Abstract and Paris Texas performing.

The last Camp Flog Gnaw was held in 2019, with Solange, FKA twigs, and Brockhampton all performing. The festival was due to return in 2022, but was delayed due to Tyler’s busy schedule and the ongoing pandemic.

It is sure to be an exciting year for hip-hop fans, with Earl Sweatshirt’s ‘Doris’ anniversary tour, as well as the upcoming Camp Flog Gnaw festival.
