“The Last Dinner Party Release Dark New Single ‘My Lady Of Mercy’ with Accompanying Video and UK Tour Dates”

The Last Dinner Party have released their third single, ‘My Lady Of Mercy’, and its accompanying video. The track marks a shift in sound for the band, taking a darker route in comparison to their previous releases ‘Nothing Matters’ and ‘Sinner’.

Produced by James Ford – who is known for his work with Arctic Monkeys, Florence + The Machine, Haim, and Kylie Minogue – the song follows the theme of teenage crushes and religious experience. The band have described the track as “the anguish of a teenage crush that can only be described through the bloody, carnal language of religious experience”.

The video for ‘My Lady Of Mercy’ was directed by the band and Harv Frost and Dora Paphides, and it captures the emotion of the track. It is available to watch now on YouTube.

The Last Dinner Party are currently on their UK tour, with stops including Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds, Hull, London, Cambridge, Swansea and Bristol. After that, they will make their way to the US and Europe to open for Hozier on his arena tour. They have also announced a headlining show at London’s Roundhouse on February 1, 2024. Tickets for this show are still available.

Fans can find tickets for all of The Last Dinner Party’s shows on their website, and they can also keep up to date with the band’s news and tour dates by following them on social media.
